Pipe Bends

The basic range of pipe bends for PIP 130, PIP 180 and PIP 300 is produced in accordance with DN of the pipeline.

The angle range 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° according to customer requirements in other angular measures and branch lengths, too.

Branches

T-branch

The basic range of branches in version PIP 130, PIP 180 and PIP 300 is produced in accordance with dimensions range of pipeline.

Superelevation between the bottom edge of branch coat and the upper edge main pipeline coat amounts 50 mm.

The standard lengths of branches produced in accordance with DN:

  up to   DN 250   L1 = 1500mm
L2 = 1000 mm
DN 300   L1 = 2000 mm
L2 = 1500 mm

The joining angle α uniformly 45°.

The basic range of branches in version PIP 130, PIP 180 and PIP 300 is produced in accordance with dimensions range of pipeline.

T-piece

It is produced in a same dimensions range as the T-branch.

Reduction Pipes

The reduction pipes are produced as standard in L = 1000 mm.
According to the requirement the reduction pipe may be attached directly into branches or T-pieces.

Compensators

The pre-insulated axial compensators are produced in a basic length 3,000 mm. For PIP 130 the axial single-acting compensators and axial compensators with a short stroke are used. For PIP 180 and PIP 300 there are used the axial compensators, eventually - by previous agreement with the producer – jointed compensators requiring special insulation finish, including axial guide. The compensators are by 50% pre-loaded.

As the axial compensators are equipped with an inner guide tube in addition to the outer protective pipe, it is necessary to keep joining direction, which is marked with arrow on the coat (protection pipe).

Fixed Point

It is delivered in two versions, i.e. the fixed point for PIP 130 and also in the version with interrupted thermal bridge for PIP 180 and PIP 300.

The fixed points are produced in the basic length  up to  DN 300 L = 2500 mm
 above  DN 300 L = 3000 mm

For PB placed in breaking points the basic dimensions range as at the pipe bends is valid.

Overlapping of the anchorage ring t = 75 mm, force according to DN.

The fixed points are poured in concrete blocks, which allow safety anchorage of the pipeline.


Armatures

The closing, air-relief and discharging valves may be also solved with pre-insulated armatures:
The length L is for all DN unified L = 1 m
The height depends on type of armature used, which the customer discusses individually with the producer.

Fixed Point

The fixed points are used for definite fixing of the pipeline.

The fixed points are to be used wherever elongation (dilatation) must not cause exceeding certain values of compression or temperature loads for static reasons, (e.g. in long sections, before breaking points with small angles, too small dilatation arms, before branches and the like).

In steam distribution systems they determine sections for use of the compensators.

In principle, the fixed points are used at the pipelines with frequent temperature changes to prevent movement of the whole pipeline section.

Dimensions are valid for two-pipe dimensions. Higher dimensions are solved individually for each case.

The stated dimensions depend on arising forces to the fixed point and on actual local earth properties – therefore, they are binding. In general, the allowable surface load by earth, the mean value 150 kN/sq. m.
